Dampers for Air Balancing, Exhaust
Air Flow Control for Every Industrial Facility
Ventilation dampers from Tri-Mer Corp. provide precise control of air flow for supply, return, outside and exhaust air applications. They are ideal for mixed air temperature control, and wherever air balancing, cross ventilation or heat recovery is needed.

Materials
Dampers are custom-fabricated from polypropylene, a resilient, sustainable polymer with high flexural strength, and high moisture and chemical resistance. Dampers are flanged, and can be wall-mounted, allowing entry and exit, or flanged to a duct system.
Applications
Tri-Mer ventilation dampers are highly effective for metal finishing, steel processing and manufacturing operations where control of heat or condensation is needed.
How They Work
Dampers can be activated manually, or fitted with electronic or pneumatic actuators to control the (parallel or opposed) blade positions. Units mount easily to exhaust blowers.
Because Tri-Mer ventilation dampers are constructed of homogeneous, high-strength polypropylene, they resist mechanical damage. Unlike coated steel dampers, these dampers are corrosion free. Unlike fiberglass units, they will not delaminate, even after decades of service.
And unlike other industrial dampers, ours are made in the USA, and readily available.
Polypropylene has an impressively low environmental impact compared to other thermoplastics, and other damper construction materials. Less energy and natural resources are consumed in production, its carbon footprint is low, and it has a lower CO2 burden compared with other industrial polymers. Scrap from the manufacturing process is recyclable, and when burned, the scrap does not generate toxic gases, as is the case with other plastics.
