Solid Waste Incineration
Tri-Mer Corporation offers proven technologies for the efficient control of air emissions from waste incineration, and biomass/ waste-to-energy operations.
Tri-Mer Q-Scrub has the lowest capital cost of any combination quench/scrubber system. Operating costs are also low, thanks to the system's neutralization of corrosive flue gases, conservative chemical use, and low pressure drop.
Q-Scrub Incinerator Scrubber performs consistently at 95-99.99% efficiency in controlling particulate (including noncombustibles in flue gas, and byproducts of incomplete combustion); NOx, SO2, and HCl and other acid gases, dioxins, heavy metals, PCBs and PAHs. Systems are engineered to guarantee a specific outlet rating.
Tri-Mer Q-Scrub is widely specified for high-temperature furnace and incineration applications, including rotary kilns, calcinators, multiple hearth furnaces, refractory furnaces, fluidized beds, biomass grate furnaces, catalytic combusters, waste-fired boilers, liquid injection and hazardous waste incinerators, and VOC/fume oxidizers.
Where NOx destruction is needed, Q-Scrub incorporates a Tri-NOx® module, a proven NOx destruction system regardless of loading.
Tri-Mer UltraCat is a dry air pollution control technology; its primary component is high temperature ceramic filtration whose walls are embedded with SCR DeNOx catalyst. When coupled with dry sorbent and ammonia injection, all major combustion byproducts are destroyed with efficiencies ranging from 95-99.9%.
Tri-Mer Packed Tower Scrubbers and Crossflow Scrubbers are also used in waste incineration applications.
