Supervisor: Sales Manager / President
Responsibilities:
- Consults with existing and prospective clients to assess and understand equipment needs and system requirements.
- Surveys existing field processes to assess new and existing exhaust ventilation design.
- Qualifies new leads as assigned.
- Identifies and locates new clients through a variety of methods including networking and cold calls.
- Maintains call logs and tracks communication with customers and prospects.
- Works with internal engineering resources to generate preliminary designs which serve as the basis for cost proposals.
- Quotation of capital equipment packages to meet the needs of customers and prospects
- Ensures that customer needs are met throughout the project and equipment life-cycle, which requires coordination and communication with internal departments.
- Works with internal resources to determine cost factors for quotation of capital projects, including procurement, production, process and design engineering.
- Accepts and processes new purchase orders and change orders from customers.
- Proposes improved materials or products to customers and explains benefits of changes.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
