We are hiring a CAD Designer for industrial and commercial Air Pollution Control Systems. To do well in this role you should have experience in mechanical design, piping/ductwork, plant layouts and or equipment design and arrangements.

CAD Designer Responsibilities:

• Prepare dimensional drawings, installation drawings and more complex drawings (plant layouts).
• Creating detailed 2D and 3D designs using CAD software.
• Review blueprints, plans, specifications and other customer/team documentation.
• Works with project execution team and sales team on guidelines for installation drawings which meet and exceed the customer’s requirements (bid and submittal phase). Implement these requirements on drawings sent to the customer.
• Steelwork design and detailing.
• Coordinating with other team members to obtain relevant information for drawings.
• Adhering to the timelines and budget while creating designs.
• Updating and maintaining design documentations.
• Preparing BOMs to be used by sales and purchasing.
• Making corrections or revisions to the 2D or 3D models as requested.
• Designing preliminary sales layouts as per customer supplied specifications.
• Developing and presenting high-level recommendations to project manager.
• Aid in the selection of materials for the products.

CAD Designer Requirements:

• Associate's or Bachelor’s Degree, plus at least 5 years of related work experience: or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Experience in equipment layout for municipal and/or industrial construction projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD /SolidWorks software.
• Understanding of mechanical piping and P&ID drawings.
• Ability to smoothly incorporate feedback into a design.

We are hiring a chemical engineer to design environmental control systems from our large selection of available technologies. Must be capable of identifying and resolving unique design challenges and changes as they surface while demonstrating a clear understanding of chemical engineering principles.

Chemical Engineer Responsibilities:

• To contribute to co-operative working across disciplines in accordance with the company’s procedures, and contribute to multi-disciplinary project teams, leading them when required.
• Acts as the Application Engineer for all assigned projects and coordinates with the Sales and Engineering staff to complete work to the customer’s satisfaction.
• Reads and comprehends customer specifications and implements the specifications into the project design.
• Assists customers with troubleshooting problems, handles customer complaints, and solves problems in a prompt, professional manner; may be involved in investigating and reporting on warranty claims and return goods authorization (RGA) process.
• Performs applicable equipment calculations.
• Participates in design reviews, risk assessments, HAZOPs and Vendor bid evaluations.
• Participates in the generation of equipment arrangements, equipment specifications, data sheets, vendor proposals and technical studies.
• Understands and creates process flow diagrams.
• Creates and modifies design workbooks based on customer supplied data.
• Provides engineering support and assistance to the project management and estimating teams as needed.
• Represents the company at business trade shows, field pilot studies, and customer meetings as needed.
• Assists with the preparation of technical proposals and project cost estimates as needed.
• Recommends modifications to standard products to meet individual customer requirements, within practical company and economic limitations.
• Performs other related duties as required or directed.

Chemical Engineer Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering degree from an accredited school or related job experience.
• Must have the ability to address, process and resolve engineering problems in the air pollution control industry. Must have broad mechanical and technical background as well as an understanding of project management techniques.
• 3-5 years of pollution control applications engineering preferred.

• Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful.
